If you are ready to move out of your unit or end your storage lease with us please consider the following.
You will need to notify the staff of Beaver Dam Self Storage 30 days in advance that you wish to end your lease with us. Please let us know your name, unit number, as well as your last day of storage or planned move out day. You may do this by any of the following methods. Any of these methods are acceptable and we will return a message to you that we have received your move out request.

By telephone (920-885-9800). Feel free to leave a voicemail with your information if we are not able to take your call.

Once we have reached your planned move out date, your unit will be inspected for cleanliness. We do request that all of your items be removed from the property, the floor be swept clean, and that you leave the lock and both keys we provided on the floor inside your unit and close the door. Please note, if any of your possessions remain in your unit or space after your move out it may delay the process, and some additional fees may be charged on your account.
We do not prorate rent amounts if you leave a unit before the end of the month. If you leave the space early, you choose to forfeit any unused rent paid. Also, we do not return or refund rent paid if you decide not to use the space at all.
If you are still in the unit as of the 1st of the following month, you will be charged for the entire following month. If you planned on leaving at the end of the month, make sure you are out on that day. Doors are checked on the 1st of the month. If your lock is on the unit or any of your items are there, you're there!
