If you are ready to move out of your unit or end your storage lease with us please consider the following.
You will need to notify the staff of Beaver Dam Self Storage at least 15 days in advance that you wish to end your lease with us. Please let us know your name, unit or space number, as well as your last day of storage or planned move out day. You may do this by any of the following methods. Any of these methods are acceptable and we will return a message to you that we have received your move out request. Please give us a notice of at least 15 days to prevent forfeiting your security deposit.

By telephone (920-885-9800). Feel free to leave a voicemail with your information if we are not able to take your call.
Sign in to your account and schedule your move out date.
Once we have reached your planned move out date, your unit will be inspected for cleanliness. We do request that all of your items be removed from the property, and the floor be swept clean. Once you have met these requirements we will begin the process of returning your security deposit in the form it was originally received. Please note, if any of your possessions remain in your unit or space after your move out it may delay the process, and some additional fees may be charged on your account.
We do not prorate rent amounts if you leave a unit before the end of the month. If you leave the space early, you choose to forfeit any unused rent paid. Also, we do not return or refund rent paid if you decide not to use the space at all. Please make sure your items will fit before you rent with us.
If you are still in the unit as of the 1st of the following month, you will be charged for the entire following month. If you planned on leaving at the end of the month, make sure you are out on that day. Doors are checked on the 1st of the month. If your lock is there or any of your items are there, you're there!
